Technical Support & QA

We are looking for a vibrant, highly motivated, self starter with attention to detail. You will work as part of the technical team supporting the development team and providing quality assurance for our software products.

The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a dynamic SaaS environment and have a proven track record providing second level support and testing. They will be comfortable analysing technical issues and be proficient in resolving and communicating outcomes to all parties. They should also be familiar with the common testing methodologies and have some experience in a QA role.

What You’ll Do 

In this role, you will collaborate with the engineering team and the customer support team. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

  • Testing new and existing features, debug code and report errors and failures
  • Working collaboratively with the development team
    – to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases
    – ensure standards of documentation and release notes are met
  • Working collaboratively with the customer support team
    – identifying any post release issues
    – managing process of having these issues resolved
  • During the software release cycle, identify, report, and review defects in assessing application quality.
  • Coordinate and implement technical customer onboarding in conjunction with the development team.
  • Gathering requirements to tackle bugs and track progress
  • Test automation – Any experience with testing frameworks such as selenium or Jenkins would be a bonus.
  • Provide 2nd level support essentially acting as conduit between Customer support team and engineering

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or prior experience in the field.
  • Experience using web based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Selenium)
  • Experience using project tracking software considered a strong asset (ex: JIRA)
  • Experience using version control systems (ex: Git) would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Determination when solving issues
  • Knowledge of retail would also be considered an asset as it would provide context when detail with support issues.
  • Basic knowledge of at least one scripting language would be beneficial but not essential.

People Operations & Culture Manager

You will have the potential to significantly impact and improve our employee experience. You will have direct access to colleagues at all levels of the organisation, and also work directly with the head of HR, globally. Based in Cork, you’ll be reporting directly into the Chief Operating Officer.

What You’ll Do 

  • Treat employees as internal customers and increase their satisfaction.
  • Support employees on a day-to-day basis and answer questions about benefits and company policies.
  • Keep track of and analyse People metrics (e.g. turnover rates, time to hire).
  • Design and execute the strategy to have a great and efficient experience in onboarding & offboarding.
  • Onboard new employees and ensure they have access to necessary resources and tech.
  • Assist in recruiting and scheduling of interviews
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting employee benefits
  • Manage and encourage global policies and procedures (e.g vacation policy, payment schedule policy, culture committee, bonuses).
  • Oversee office management and advise on improvements for improving employee experience
  • Manage partners, vendors and third parties that support the People Operations strategy (Eg 15Five and Foederis)
  • In charge of employee engagement events, which promote connection and help to create and maintain a high-performing, inclusive, and mission-driven culture.
  • Work closely with other team members and leaders in the organisation to develop and execute programs that increase engagement and employee satisfaction.

What’s Required

  • 3-4 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth tech company/start-up
  • Experience managing people
  • Experience building, maintaining and showcasing HR data analytics
  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering trust and great rapport with diverse groups of people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organisation
  • Primarily based in Cork, Ireland
