London, July 2015: Former CEO/Chairman of Tesco Ireland Tony Keohane has joined the board of MarketHub, a new retail tech start-up. Keohane will draw on his vast expertise and experience in the retail sector, to support and develop the ambitious growth plans of the company. MarketHub is a London headquartered company which uses digital pricing and analytics technology to programme electronic shelf labels. These give customers a better and more personalised shopping experience, by using consumption data to ensure their favourite products are always in stock. MarketHub’s technology also benefits staff and stores by enabling them to spend less time pricing items, and more time giving their valued shoppers the best customer service.

Tony Keohane is chairing MarketHub’s advisory board as the firm brings its innovative technology to market. He will work closely with CEO Roy Horgan to help develop the company’s strategy as it looks to target small and medium sized retailers. The aim of MarketHub’s technology is to re-invigorate the UK high street by helping all retailers think about and create their unique differentiator.
